Grapes from our Single vineyard in Cru Serragrilli in Neive.
The training system is Guyot and the average density per hectare is 5,000 plants.
Vinification:
the alcoholic fermentation lasts for 10-12 days in vertical vinification tanks in steel with dayli pumping over to facilitate the extraction of the color. Also the malolactic fermentation is carried out in steel. The aging, lasting about 48 months, is divided between steel, big botti and Barriques and then bottled to rest for 2 years before release.
Description:
Light ruby red
On the nose the wine feels delicate and elegant, with aromas of raspberries, roses, violets and currant.
This is an elegant and feminine barbaresco, made in a modern style. The fresh berry taste, makes it refreshing and juicy on the palate. It's present, but not overpowering tannins, makes this barbaresco excellent to enjoy now, but also great for storage for at least 15-20 years.
