Grapes from selected vineyards located in Priocca, in the heart of Roero and characterized by calcareous-clayey soil. The average age of the vines is about 30 years, the training system is Guyot and the average density per hectare is 4,500-5,000 plants.
Vinification:
After destemming and soft pressing, fermentation takes place in steel at a temperature that varies between 12-16°C, very slowly to maintain a fresh and intense fruit and safeguard the CO2 that develops naturally.
This wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation and remains on the fine lees in steel tanks until bottling, which takes place in March.
Description:
Straw yellow color with Intense nose with delicate citrus notes, typical acacia flower scents and grapefruit aromas.
Dry and medium bodied wine with fresh acidity. Well balanced, elegant and with good complexity and persistence.
